Before You Begin

Step 1: Open the Label Maker

Locate the release button or back cover of your label maker.

Open the compartment carefully to reveal the tape cassette holder.

If an old cassette is installed, gently lift it out.


Step 2: Check the Tape Cassette

Before placing the cassette into the printer:

  • Make sure the tape end feeds straight.
  • Ensure the ribbon inside is not loose.
  • If necessary, gently turn the gear wheel in the direction of the arrow until the ribbon is tight.

This helps prevent wrinkles and printing errors.

Step 3: Insert the Compatible Tape

Place the tape cassette into the compartment.

Check that:

  • Text prints clearly.
  • The tape feeds smoothly.
  • The label cuts cleanly.
  • Colors appear correctly.

If everything looks good, you're ready to start labeling.

The tape won't feed.
